hortpark, baby!

yay, yay!
my first entry since that horrendous 'potential break-up' incident.
let's not elaborate; it'll only bring the nightmare haunting back again.
three days gone, and things have been better than ever!
maybe we're starting to see the light, to appreciate each other better. (:
they said, 'it's only after you become friends with death, that you will appreciate life'.

so yeah, every single of the past three days have been great, apart from being penniless though.
no money, all misery.
and who says money don't bring happiness; it does okay.
only people under this state of mine will understand.

weekend's here, and there i go going out for dates!
budget date, but was still fantastic!
fortunately training have been permanently shifted to wednesday, if not i won't have any chance to go out on dates on saturdays.

and yes, yes, yes!
today, dear and me went to check out the coolest-latest-shit in town,
the much talked-about HORTPARK!
no worries, readers. pictures will be updated asap. (:

the most recent production of NEA, hortpark covers over 23 ha, linking the telok blangah/mount faber park with the 43 ha kent ridge park, all the way to west coast park!

alighting at the stop after alexandra road, with the raindrops dutifully falling along the pull of gravity, we were greeted by the mammoth hortpark signature-bridge, that links the suspension bridge leading to telok blangah park to the entrance of the hortpark.
man, i sure love the architecture and landscaping of the whole park settings!

going down the slopes, we bumped into a world of colours!
the gorgeous violet of the morning glories, the striking red of the hibiscus, and so much more other flowers that appeal the eyes.
i wasn't really interested though; i was struck in awe looking at this ridiculous-designed building which functioned as a shelter.
but looking back again, i realised that it was only the beginning of what to come.
what awaited me ahead were of pure brilliance; creativeness executed to perfection.
descriptions are beyond words, only illustrations could tell. (:
head down for yourself, to feel that fascination.

heading up ahead, we faced a huge predicament.
dear and me had two choices, to turn back down to the hortpark entrance, or to resume our 'greenery-tour' with a long 4.5km kent ridge park lying ahead.
the intelligent would choose the former, but the curious will choose the latter.
and the saying 'curiousity kills the cat' sure hits the spot this time.

despite the blazing heat coming for above, we, or me in fact, tried to stretch our limits.
we welcomed the challenge with no hesitance.
but it was a hellish journey i didn't see coming.
we crumbled, pleading for mercy, and praying for an escape route to get us out of our doldrum.
it was a lengthy expedition; i could feel a migrant's torment marching across the sahara.
a lil' exeggerating, but still.. HAHA.

with our hearts desperate for the end, and our throats desperate for water,
we found our escape.
and luckily, i'm able to read maps. (:
i felt relieved, but that wasn't the best feeling though.
i saved the best moment for the last.
i accomplished something today, for the first time.
that is, to carry dearest!
not much of a big deal, but it felt so good!
you know, for her to complement my strength and sweetness.
chey. LOLS!

no doubt, today's encounter was all about trust, faith, dependence and romance!
for us to hold on to each other thruout the tough times, for one to encourage the other, and for us to be isolated in a place of unknown, just the two of us.
but hey, don't worry. i didn't do anything naughty.
just get me right, being alone with your partner, and devoting all attentions to him/her.
that's the greatest feeling. (:

rightfully gaining our freedom after the unforgettable experience across kent-ridge park,
we promptly headed down to clementi for our meal!
mee soto and plum juice had never tasted any better. LOLS.
the rest of the time were of usual-ness; swallowing down sundaes from mac'd, gulping the lemon honey down my oesophagus, mucnhing the sticks of prawn crackers, while getting distracted by the wushu practice when i was suppose to study. (:

it was a great day, another great discovery.
i'm hoping to find new places for our weekly budget date.
anyone out there, with any suggestions, please inform me. (:
haha.

i so love today, and i so love my girlfriend.
you're the ever best. (:

nights, people.
and one last bad news, i lost my white nike band. :(
but i still have to be grateful i didn't lost dear three days ago. :)
